An Interim Solution for High-Growth Leadership: Why I Joined Zeren

When I first heard about Zeren and the work they were doing, I had so many questions. Only three years young with a truly impressive network of clients across various asset classes including top-tier Venture, Growth and Private Equity Investors as well as Founders/CEOs and Leaders of larger, listed organisations looking for Leadership Talent, the growth of the company seemed almost too good to be true. With my background firmly in Interim Management and Consulting, the world of Executive and retained search felt somewhat removed, and in a way quite foreign.

 

Throughout life, I have travelled far and wide and spent many years living in some of the lesser-known parts of the world such as Oman and Botswana, so I am drawn to adventure and challenge.

 

I was genuinely intrigued by the vision Zeren has to ‘empower the world’s change makers’, and it became abundantly clear how the model creates not only a competitive advantage, but more importantly, a client value like no other. Interim and Executive Search – a real ‘power couple’; the ideas and possibilities as a client solution seemed endless. Following a meeting with Zeren’s Managing Director, Chris Preston, I was firmly engaged. A genuine business leader with a vision and passion for delivering a brand that is rooted at the core by all those who have joined to date – a culture to truly live by.

Following the pandemic and a maternity leave spent walking the lengths and breadths of South London (I now feel like an expert in every curb, bump, and bend of Brockwell Park), like many others, my return to the world of work left me questioning aspects of my future; Zeren offered the opportunity and challenge I felt I needed to take to accelerate my career without feeling like I was taking a risk at all.
