Zeren places a Senior Software Engineer at Twinkl.

We are delighted to announce the placement of Joe Carmichael at Twinkl Educational Publishing, who joins as a Senior Software Engineer within the recently established Twinkl Create team.

Joe joins Twinkl’s new VP Engineering, Carl Jackson, where his initial challenges will be improving front-end development using React.js and TypeScript, as well as adapting to Node.js and PHP tasks as priorities shift. Additionally, Joe will be responsible for the research and development endeavors for integrating AI into the Twinkl Create product.

Twinkl Educational Publishing is an established EdTech business that is trusted by teaching communities around the world with over 800,000 paying monthly subscribers.

They offer immediate access to a comprehensive array of teaching, planning, and assessment resources to aid learning across various ages and proficiency levels.

In February 2023, the PE firm, Vitruvian Partners made a minority investment in Twinkl, providing capital to expand their presence in the education sector on a global scale.
