To put it simply, a chance meeting at a wedding last year got me thinking about my next career move. From that point, the uniqueness of the Renovata-Zeren platform, and the quality of the people continued to stand out and impress me.

In meeting with Chris Preston, Zeren CEO and Jen Brook-Botfield, Global Head of Interim and Consulting, I was not only drawn to their ambition of what interim will become for the platform but how far the business has come in the last four years. With an impressive global network spanning various asset classes including VC, PE and larger, growth-led organisations, I was genuinely intrigued and wanted to be part of the journey – but was it too good to be true?

The answer to that question lay in my meeting with Thomas Jepsen, Founder and Partner at Renovata. In understanding how the Renovata platform had been built over the last 17 years; partnering with the most successful private and growth equity firms globally was truly impressive. A business that has created its own private equity fund in L Capital to co-invest with its private equity clients is both unique and exciting. And the opportunity to help further build an interim practice to work alongside both Renovata and Zeren clients, and to increase the value proposition was where I knew I wanted to be.

Jen and the team have already made an incredible start and I am delighted to be a part of the journey as we continue to focus on building a best-in-class interim and consultancy practice. As a team, we are driven by connecting talented individuals with our client base of high growth, high aspiration businesses and those of you that know me well will appreciate it is exactly that which drives my passion.

What comes next is all about growth. Not only am I looking forward to continuing to work with my HR leadership network and have been humbled by how many of you have already been in touch to wish me well – thank you! I am also thoroughly looking forward to getting to know many more interim finance professionals; my passion lies in partnering with my network to provide the best possible service and I can’t wait to spend time with all of you. Furthermore, I am looking forward to building an amazing team around me to help shape the future.
