Rob Samet on Joining Zeren
I recently joined Zeren as a Partner to help grow the US business and team.
It all began for me when I started work with a retained executive search firm on the West Coast for early-stage VC backed digital/tech companies. After a really enjoyable time learning and developing my skills, I moved back to the East Coast and started the sales and marketing practice for a large search and staffing firm in NYC. Following this, I left to set-up and run my own search company for a number of years, specializing in mid-to-senior level placements within the tech industry. While historically my time has been spent working with US tech companies placing candidates across North America, I also recruited US Leaders for European based tech companies looking to expand in to North America. In my many years of recruiting, it has been exhilarating to watch next generation tech companies surrounded by high impact executives evolve into best-in-class organisations. In recent years I have been aware of the growth of both Renovata and Zeren and, while running my own business has been immensely fulfilling, when the opportunity presented itself to join a high caliber team like Zeren, I was excited to be part of the journey.
