Senior Finance Manager

My client seeks a Senior FM to take ownership of parts of their growing function and lay the groundwork for growth and scaling.  This is a crucial role for them as they continue to increase their growth percentages over the coming years. It’s wide ranging and they will look to this role to build out their reporting, commercial finance and team cohesion.

1.  Prepare and evolve internal periodic and ad hoc financial reporting including month end board packs, cashflow forecasting, KPI   reporting framework, commercial analysis
2.  Review and manage the forecast, budgeting and strategic planning processes 
3.  Review and manage the month-end process and year end processes
4.  Prepare information for the year end audit and manage the auditor relationship
5.  Prepare financial information and statutory filings as required by internal and external stakeholders eg HMRC, VAT, board and   shareholders,
6.  Perform ‘deep dive’ analysis to understand the revenue and cost drivers and identify risks and opportunities
7.  Business partner various departments across the business to support delivery against budget, delivery of company strategy,   deliver on ad-hoc analysis, provide guidance and challenge
8.  Identify and manage risks and opportunities as they present – in terms of efficiencies across the business so that costs are well   understood and managed across the business
9.  Support work on risk, insurance, tax, treasury, strategy and KPI metrics for credit control
10.  Deputising for the Head of Finance and Financial Controller as required, from time to time
11.  Manage, train and review work performed by the management accountants to ensure quality of output
12.  Assist Financial Controller, Head of Finance and other senior members of the finance team on other items, as requested from time   to time
