Having owned my own search firm for over 20 years, I have been approached often regarding new roles; none really piqued my interest.
From my first call regarding the chance to join Zeren, I knew that this opportunity had potential. Having placed hundreds of people at start-up businesses, I always advised interested candidates to “dig-in deeper” if they believed a particular role had potential.
So, I took my own advice for once!
Several calls with Matt Evelt, Mannie Gill, Chris Preston and Rob Samet later, and I was hooked!
It took a short while to convince Matt why I would leave my own firm, but I liked how much he shared to try to offer a realistic view of what I was stepping into. On the flip-side, I was disappointed to hear that Chris wasn’t a Chelsea supporter, but I went forward to join the team nonetheless!
Here I am now, incredibly excited and ready to help Zeren continue this amazing growth journey, and be part of something I am confident is going to be big!
