Dataiku – VP of Sales Enablement

Overview

As our new VP of Sales Enablement, you will report to our CRO and lead the team responsible for developing and leading the enablement of the full revenue team across functions, channels, regions and in close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization. You will be challenged to both outline direction, set priorities for the function and be hands on driving execution.

In the fast-changing market of AI and advanced analytics, in a high growth organization, your mission will be to help secure the world-class performance of the sales organization by empowering them with the best methods, content and practices to succeed on the field. You will play a key role to help newcomers onboard as rapidly as possible and existing teams continuously hone and update their skills.

Success in this position will require being focused on outcomes, strong program leadership skills and the ability to deep dive in both the value proposition of advanced analytics products and the intricacies of both commercial and enterprise software sales. You will also need to engage with and align with leaders across the organization, from product marketing to sales leaders.

The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience with driving a Sales Enablement/Excellence function preferably within the B2B SaaS (from companies with over $100M ARR), and ideally with previous experience from within sales, sales enablement, customer experience or digital transformation and have a sound knowledge of start-up/high-growth environments.

Key Tasks

Develop and implement the Sales Enablement program:

●Oversee all aspects of the development, roll-out, and delivery of the sales efficiency program, including coaching and facilitation

●Lead activities related to development and adoption of the common Dataiku sales methodology and playbooks

●Design and implement industry best, including managing sales training, workshops, establishing new tools and processes, incl. within sales onboarding and key account management.

●Support design and implementation of partner performance evaluations in close collaboration with the Global Partnership Organization.

●Support and work in partnership with entire Sales organization including Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Partnerships, Lead Generation, and ensure coordination and collaboration with Customer team, Marketing, Finance and Product development.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 5-8 years’ experience with driving a Sales Enablement/Excellence function or experience from within sales management, sales performance coaching, sales enablement, or management consulting with proven track record of developing programs, program management, taking ownership and drive change and impact in a global setting.

Operational field sales experience is an advantage –ideally from within a complex B2B environment such as SaaS, AI Analytics, financial services, or other related technology industry.

A solid track record of creating commercial results and in successfully designing and implementing business strategies and initiatives.

Well-developed interpersonal-, and stakeholder management skills being considered a “Hands on leader” capable in action to engage people, set direction and get stuff done.

Sound problem solving skills and strong commercial understanding incl. the ability to identify commercial needs and translate them into global solutions.

Strong program, communication, and change management skills.

Strong experience in CRM (preferably Salesforce.com) and working knowledge of Google Workplace/G Suite is a plus.

Master’s degree within business, economics, finance or similar a plus

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Some travel days to be expected, exact amount is dependent on how the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds.
