Technical Support Engineer
Zeren is excited to be parterning with a Series A SaaS business which is actively seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join the team in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for providing quality technical support to our B2B clients, working with our front-line support agents to triage bugs and complete support tasks that require technical input.
- The ideal candidate should have a proven record of providing technical support, resolving customer issues and working towards SLA’s to provide timely and effective solutions.

- Explaining technical problems to non technically stakeholders

- Providing frontline support using helpdesk
- Proactively prioritising requests internally
- Understanding when to and when not to escalate an issue
- Ability to adopt to changing landscape
Must-have hands-on experience:
- 3 years of exp with SQL (PostgresSQL/MSSQL)
- 3 years of exp with scripting in (Bash/Typescript/Python)
- Working knowledge of the below
- Linux
- MacOS (Terminal use)
- iOS
- Windows
- Android
- Networking
- APIs
- Understanding applications logs
- Experience with JSON
- Knowledge of Bash scripts
- Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript
- Knowledge of AWS/any cloud platform
Nice-to-haves:
- Any coding experience
- Knowledge of AWS, Docker or Kubernetes
- Understanding application architecture
- Understanding integrations
