Zeren are delighted to have partnered with Huq, a world-class data insights platform specialising in people mobility. Their platform enables businesses to identify revenue opportunities as well as helping local authorities to improve green spaces, create new jobs and build better and strong communities.
They are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team. Their offices are in London in between Temple and Blackfriars tube stops. Being a small, collaborative team, they are ideally looking for you to join them in the office 2 or 3 days a week.
Huq have just secured a £10m Venture round but are also now financially self-sufficient generating £2m ARR with a target they are on course for of £10m by the end of 2024. Since Jan ‘22, they have had 193% subscription account growth. Their plans are to expand further into the US, Asia and wider EMEA.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will optimise and develop features on their core geospatial data pipelines processing ~0.5 billion data points per day. There will be a significant opportunity for you to work on various ways of modelling this data and extracting relevant insights as well as engaging in research and development and building tooling.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work with and have exposure to the following technologies.
