About the Position

The Head of Talent is a strategic leadership position providing global direction for hiring and retaining great people. The incumbent is responsible for overall talent management and acquisition and leads a team whose dual mission is to (a) provide strategic guidance to Cint’s leadership on matters of strategy and execution related to talent and (b) source great people, either internally or externally. The incumbent will be joining Cint at an ideal time. Cint has just been through a significant merger and has also built a new three year strategic plan. At the heart of this plan is the goal to create a modern talent management function that allows us to become the employer of choice in our sector. As such, the incumbent would have great latitude to transform the talent management and acquisition functions and would also have significant impact on building an inclusive culture aligned with our values

 About the Talent Management Team

The Talent Management team has a twofold mission. One is to provide guidance to departmental leaders to ensure their teams have the right people to meet their short- and longterm needs. The other is to source great people, either internally through succession or internal mobility or externally through diverse global networks, to fill roles as they become open. This is a highly consultative team whose responsibilities encompass strategic workforce planning and ongoing talent management and whose success is measured by Cint achieving its business goals with a high degree of employee satisfaction and retention.

 What the team does

  • Strategic workforce planning
  • Review of team strengths and weaknesses in light of current and future needs, personnel budget forecasts, retention data, and global talent market conditions to develop a long-term strategic plan for recruiting and succession
  • Works with departmental leadership to bring the plan to life through the annual budgeting process and ongoing hiring activities and monitor its success Ongoing talent management Consults frequently with departmental leaders to evaluate current team needs against personnel budget & forecasts and hiring plans
  • Ensures job descriptions exist and typical career paths are specified for their department
  •  Consults frequently with Regional Business Partners to ensure information on team members and team evolution is shared
  • Works with Total Rewards to ensure their department’s job architecture is updated regularly and market trends in compensation are understood
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Develops diverse sourcing networks at scale
  • Builds a connection with and qualifies great candidates for hiring that is directly managed by the team
  • Advise Cint’s people managers on hiring for roles handed in the department
  • Create best practices for interviewing and landing great candidates and ensure these are shared and embedded in the organization Provides top down support for People initiatives
  • Encourages adoption and implementation of new People initiatives through interactions with departmental leadership Share analytics and drive action
  •  Establish KPIs for talent acquisition

Essential Experience:

  • The successful candidate will have senior level experience and proven success (10+ years of progressive experience) defining and implementing a complete Talent Management & Acquisition strategy that encompasses:
  • Defining and activating an Employee Value Proposition
  • Building a top-notch team of talent strategists
  • Strategic people partners, recruiters, and sources
  • Partnering with business leaders to understand their current and future needs,
  • Mechanisms for remaining up to date of global talent trends by function and market,
  • Developing internal talent and sourcing externally via large global diverse sourcing network that includes passive sources,
  • Building an efficient talent acquisition process with a strong emphasis on enabling technologies and an excellent candidate experience
  • Embodying a strong commitment to DEI principles and proven ability to incorporate these into the plan and execution
  • Measuring success by setting and achieving goals
