As Synectics embarks on its next growth phase, driven by a recent investment from Synova, the company is looking to scale its operations and expand its market reach.

Role Overview
The Head of Revenue Operations will play a critical role in shaping and optimising revenue processes to support Synectics' growth initiatives. This newly created position will focus on implementing metrics, driving operational efficiencies, and ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, account management, and customer success functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), once appointed, the role will involve close collaboration with various teams, including business development, customer success, product, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Operations Strategy

  • Look to drive growth across new business sales, account management, product, marketing, and customer success.
  • Establish and optimise Salesforce CRM processes.
  • Introduce metrics and KPIs to track and improve performance across all revenue-generating functions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with circa 40 across the sales, marketing, account management, and customer success teams
  • Work with all relevant departments to enhance customer lifecycle management and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and manage a small RevOps team, initially consisting of one to two direct reports, with potential for expansion.
  • Mentor and develop team members, creating a high-performance culture that supports Synectics' growth trajectory.

Process Optimisation and Automation

  • Implement and refine Salesforce workflows and other sales enablement tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify and automate manual processes to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve revenue processes to adapt to Synectics' evolving business needs.

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Leverage data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across the go-to-market strategy.
  • Provide actionable insights to drive decision-making, revenue growth, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with finance to manage commission plans and align incentives with performance metrics.

Growth Experience and Change Management

  • Apply previous experience in scaling SaaS organisations, ideally within PE owned or VC backed environments.
  • Lead change initiatives to guide teams through growth phases, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Take control of revenue operations projects and inspire teams to drive results collectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a senior Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or similar role, ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM/sales enablement tools, implementing operational efficiencies.
  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis, creating KPIs, and optimising sales and marketing processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop small teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
