Do you thrive in fast-paced, fast-growing environments? If so, there’s a great opportunity waiting for you as a Customer Success Manager here at Cloudsmith.

We help our customers manage and secure their software supply chain, and improve their developer experience. We are by developers, for developers. Our culture operates with openness and transparency, driven by our ambition to build a great company. We enjoy working with great people and customers. We learn, support one another, and we’re growing. Now is a great time to join us.

About Cloudsmith

Cloudsmith (https://cloudsmith.com) is an end-to-end software supply chain product. Cloudsmith allows software engineering teams to put all their software assets in one place, control who has access to them, and distribute them around the world quickly. We are a venture-backed business, at the Series-A stage of development. We are targeting rapid growth ahead of a further fundraising round, and ultimately an IPO.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Customer Success Manager to join our growing team.
As a Customer Success Manager you will play a crucial role in building strong, lasting relationships with customers of all types, ensuring they derive maximum value from Cloudsmith. You will be the trusted advisor and advocate for our clients, working collaboratively with them to achieve their objectives and fostering customer loyalty. You’ll have the opportunity to play an integral role across the whole customer journey – from onboarding, through to product adoption, and sharing and establishing best practices. You will be the Cloudsmith subject matter expert for Cloudsmith customers.

Our Team

Our team is responsible for ensuring that all our customers are successful and happy. On a daily basis we work with our customers and the developer community to ensure they are building software that is efficient and secure across the whole supply chain. Our team partners with our customers to ensure they are onboarded and enabled, that their teams can effectively adopt and leverage all of Cloudsmith’s platform and vitally, that we have a healthy commercial relationship.

Signs you may be a good fit

  • 4-6 years in Customer Success, a similar role or a background in software development
  • Experience working with technical software products, or developer tooling
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving are what drives you
  • Demonstrable experience in maintaining commercial relationships
  • Eagerness to learn and be unafraid to admit what you don’t know
  • Familiarity with working in a fully remote asynchronous environment and thriving!
  • An enthusiastic and effective communicator (using English): you should be able to appeal to and communicate with both technical and non-technical listeners alike
  • Deeply passionate about your craft: we deeply care that you care

Things that are bonuses
We realise that not everyone will have every experience and expertise in every possible thing. Still, if you have any in any one of the following, we'll consider it an excellent bonus point for each (so point it out to us!):

  • Experience leading commercial negotiations, and renewals
  • Familiarity with artifact and package management, or the software supply chain
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, data structures & algorithms, storage systems, source control, and continuous integration
  • Familiarity with any programming language: Python, SQL, Ruby, etc
  • Be Awesome. Automate Everything. Get things done.

Benefits

You will receive an incredible package of compensation and equity, depending on location and experience, and the following benefits:

Health and Wellness

Regardless of your location, we deeply care about the health and wellness of our staff and their families; a sustainable pace is important to us. In addition to generous annual leave (PTO), we offer parental leave and health benefits that can cover you and your dependents up to 100%. We also offer flexible family-friendly working policies. More details on that below.

Personal Growth

You will have an enormous scope to learn new skills alongside your colleagues, and your continued professional development is essential to us because it's important to you. We will support you with budgets for equipment, training, books, conferences, travel, and certifications. The more powerful you become, the better for all of us.

Remote First

Cloudsmith is born & bred in Belfast, and we maintain an HQ office in the city centre for meetings, training, and social activities.  That said, you’ll likely spend most of your time working remotely from a location of your choice.

Incredible Opportunity

At Cloudsmith, you will have an incredible opportunity for a broad and deep impact across the company. We're building toward a technological IPO (taking the company public), and as an early Cloudsmither (staffer), you will be on the journey to help take us there. Your career will be on a rocket ship, and you'll join us in the reward of getting there. Be excited!

We're a startup, and that comes with all of the challenges a typical startup has. Startups are hard work but also unbelievably rewarding and career/life-defining. Not everything about work in a startup fits into a neat box, but we embrace the chaos. We live by thinking fast, acting fast, and sometimes failing fast. Experiment and flow forward.

We seek individuals passionate about their craft, ready to help build a globally distributed service. You will have a startup mentality of not shying away from the things that need doing, caring about it deeply, and ensuring we build it, ship it, and own it; while using empathy to share and collaborate with the rest of the team to plan, implement and maintain the product and infrastructure.
